Video Poster Image

Humor in coaching is no joke—but it can be a laughing matter. Any coach worth his or her salt knows that humor can be a powerful communication tool. But there is a huge difference between recognizing the power of humor AND proficiently applying humor. Science shows humor used appropriately and intentionally can strengthen relationships, build trust, enhance influence, spark insights, increase likability, boost resilience and much, much more. When used competently, humor can enhance your—AND your client’s—experience. But when implemented poorly—yikes! The results can be disastrous. Discover how to harness the power of humor in your coaching practice—even if you’re not funny!

In this interactive virtual session, you will learn to:

  • List the 3 purposes of humor.
  • Recognize the 7 competencies of High Performance Humor for coaches.
  • Describe at least three benefits of humor for the client in a coaching session.
